Creating a video to energize your curriculum

One of my favorite lessons to teach in my advanced health class is the book Tuesdays with Morrie.  There are SO many important life long lessons to learn throughout the book.  From time to time, I find some students reluctant to read the book because on top of all of their other school work, they just don't have the time (or desire).  I created a quick little intro to the book that might capture a little more enthusiasm for the book and have them connect on a more personal level.  Believe it or not, sometimes students might find it hard to connect to a teacher from a different generation so I picked a good song as a background to add to the look of the book preview. I used Animoto to create the video and used free stock video clips  and a song by Sia.  Take a look!
