PBL Questions and feedback

I am considering doing a PBL on How we can win the war on drugs.  Allowing students to create an imaginary budget with all of the resources and class discussions to warrant their budget.  I think that this has the potential to really open their eyes on everything from prisons, drug laws, drug cartels, treatment, and government involvement, Sometimes because of the nature of this topic, I can get some students who don't see the bigger picture and just want to legalize everything and don't consider ramifications.  I try to give them as many unbiased resources in class discussions but sometimes those are hard to come by.

I am envisioning them creating a team google slide presentation outside of class that illustrates how and WHY they are spending their money the way they are.  The other option is possibly create a movie using windows movie maker (although I am not sure if that is available on their chrome books).  There are a lot of options for creating a presentation.  I might give them a few options this first year to see what they come up with as well as see what I like as an end assessment for the PBL.
